SB EXPO

Wow! It's been a long time since I blogged! I have been busy with life I guess. I did recently get to go to the Scrapbook Expo at the beautiful Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas with some great friends. It was 2 GLoRiOuS days of shopping and cropping and we stayed the night at the Gaylord (both nights) which has got to be one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL hotels I have ever stayed at! It is a HUGE hotel with a convention center, so we got a lot of walking in going back and forth to the hotel and restaurants and the convention center where the Expo was. I did my fair share of shopping, and got lots of cropping done but did get a chance to take some pictures too. Here are a few pictures of the Gaylord and the fun I had with my friends! Enjoy!

NEW LAYOUT!!!

I made a new layout for the Scrappers Boutique. I used Teresa Collins SPRING FLING line. It has really beautiful colors in pink, reds, teal and green. It went perfectly with some pictures of my grand daughter when she was 2 years old. Hope you like it! Cherie should have some kits made up soon if you want to stop by the Scrappers Boutique and make one your self!!!

I had a bunch of leftover paper and butterflies and stickers, so I decided to make a couple of cards. There is always a ton of left over scraps when making a layout, so instead of throwing it out - Make a few cards and make someones day!!!

The reason I've not posted

So here are some hints as to why I havent posted in a while... See if you can guess...

I'm at a place that is only open in the summer.
It requires a lot of water to operate.
It is SO much fun!

Can you guess where I've been or what I've been doing???

If you guessed I am working at Hawaiian Falls, then you are right!
Hawaiian Falls is a new water park they opened last summer in Roanoke (only 15 minutes from my house in Keller) and I am now having a blast where I am working!!!
But sadly, it is keeping me busy that I havent been able to scrap in a while - but I promise to get back to that soon!!!

If you havent checked out Hawaiian Falls, then you must go one day soon! It is so much fun!!!

Here are more pics!!! Enjoy!!!

These are some of the fun people I work with. The middle one in the red shirt is my oldest DD. She's been working here for 2 years now. Lead Lifeguard!

New Projects

I have made a couple of new layouts and a project recently, so I thought I would share them with you now. I am so excited because a lot of the new CHA releases are coming out and they are so beautiful!

My first project is a white printers trey that I decorated with Little Yellow Bicycles Saturdays line. This line is so beautiful for just your everyday pictures with lots of blues that remind me of blue jeans, reds, creams, beautiful flowers and lots and lots of different embellishments. I decorated it up with flowers and bling and used pictures of one of my kids favorite past times... riding and enjoying horses.

My next project is a double page layout I made using Teresa Collins new Fabrications Canvas line. She has 2 new Fabrications lines, one being called Linen and the other Canvas. They are different but also similar enough that they can be used together and inter mixed. There are so many colors in each line that you could also make several layouts with each line using the different colors introduced and still come out with totally different looks. I love the teals and purples and oranges and shades of coral.
My first layout is using mostly the Canvas line:

My other layout is using Teresa Collins Fabrications Linen line. This line is absolutely gorgeous as well, and I also incorporated some of my favorite bling and products from Prima which I love so much! This line has the most beautiful cranberry/orange/coral tones, with black, creams, and greens.
This was a really fun layout to make and it turned out beautiful. ENJOY!

Becca is now in TRACK!

Becca did basketball and cross country and now is in track. She competed in her first track meet last Thursday and ran in the 4x200 and the 4x400. We were there from 4:30pm - 9pm! It was a long evening but she did great! She placed 3rd in the 4x200 meter and 2nd place in the 4x400 meter! She loves running!
